I relate to this on such a personal level dude, this is why I stay on Newgrounds, I try and savour the small amount of early 2000s Internet nostalgia I can, I can't forget the countless hours I spent laughing at rage comics and pivot animations, and being in awe at all the Flipnote uploads I could find

Those were the days, I try my hardest to just stay in that time, I dont find memes funny anymore, so I go back to the old ones, and also fuckin teamspeak dude, i miss that fuckin thing, i used to watch videos about people just doing stupid shit in teamspeak calls and i loved it so much

Not to mention I tried gaining traction as an artist on twitter and Instagram, the algorithm is so fucked beyond words for artists

Newgrounds to me is the only even remotely safe space nowadays, and the fact that Newgrounds has been getting more popular, worries me that even it won't be safe before long

Thanks man, I've just been really down lately and needed to just scream my emotions out (even if it's digitally), I'm glad some can relate to this and that I'm not alone when it comes to this.

It scary that the place I once called home; the internet, has mutated into a disgusting shell of itself, but I can still find solace in the fact that maybe we can bring back the good ol days, but for now, all we can do is remember and mourn for what once was...
